There is nothing better than being home for the holidays and who doesn't love their home to have a warm, cozy and welcoming feeling? Especially during this time of the year?
Creating warmth in your home isn't as hard as you may think, here are seven tips to achieving that comforting home we all want this holiday season.

1. Lighting can make all the difference
There may be nothing that can impact your homes coziness like lighting and here are some ways you can use it to light your home just right.
String Lights
You can put them almost anywhere and not go wrong so string them up baby!

Under Cabinet Lighting
You can easily install lighting under any cabinet to give the room a warm feeling instead of the harshness of overhead lighting. There are some great options on Amazon.

2. Warm Up Your Space with Rugs and Textiles
Not only will this make your home look cozy but it will also make it feel cozy...literally. Tile and wood floors can get pretty cold, break up with tip toeing on the cold floor by adding a few rugs throughout your home.

3. Add Texture
When you go shopping do you touch and feel items that catch your attention? Me too!, encourage this in your home! You can add depth to your home through textures with the ideas below.
Woven Baskets
Chunky Knit Blankets
Use different materials: wood, leather, velvet...The sky is the limit

4. Books
Use books that you have around your home to add color. Group books by their color on your bookshelf to bring some color into the room... these are also great conversation starters.

5. Art and Mirrors
Try to avoid an undressed wall that can make your home feel cold. Get some great art that expresses your personality ads character to your home. Mirrors are also great when trying to make a room feel larger or when trying to brighten up a space. Test out both in your space.

Whatever you decide to implement in your home this holiday season, enjoy it with those who matter most! Stay Cozy Friends!
